The university extension aims to create a link between the academic environment and the community and, through this link, enable the exchange of scientific knowledge and experiences of the population. This tool was hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic in the context of social isolation, preventing face-to-face activities. However, the Extension Project “Allergy to cow's milk protein (CMPA) and the main information for caring for children”, composed of medical students from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Paraíba (FCMPB/AFYA), used technologies to allow the contact provided by the university extension harmed by the current context. In this way, virtual Conversation Circles were held through digital platforms with caregivers of children with CMPA.
