Abstract

This report aims to present the trajectory of the creation and development of the Baixada Santista nucleus of the Brazilian Articulation for the Economy of Francisco and Clara. From the call of Pope Francis, in 2019, through the 1st meeting held at PUC-SP, to the beginning of the journey led by the precursors Sergio Storch, Célio Nori, José Pascoal Vaz and Sérgio Sérvulo, to the constitution of the group of volunteers and its developments during and after the pandemic, the text extends to the current configuration and ongoing initiatives already outlining future projects. If, on the one hand, the journey was and is permeated by difficulties, losses (all the precursors passed away), insufficient support and structure, the important thing is to reaffirm that it is also fraternal, horizontal, absolutely voluntary and committed to the most vulnerable in society. our society. It is through the dedication and persistence of some volunteers that ABEFC BS maintains itself and expands its operations, inspired and encouraged by the teaching that Francisco and Clara passed on to us: we must now create a world of Peace and Good!
