Abstract

This study proposes an intersection between the "Economy of Francis and Clare" and the Economic Constitution. The objective of the work will be achieved through a theoretical and bibliographic approach. Inspired by the call of Pope Francis, the study explores the principles that shaped the lives of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Clare of Assisi, providing an interpretative framework for understanding the call for the "reanimation" of the economy. With the foundations solidified through the literature review, the article incorporates a comparative method into its structure. In other words, by comparing the values of the economic order outlined in Article 170 of the Federal Constitution of 1988 with the principles of the "Economy of Francis and Clare," the aim is to identify convergences and divergences. This comparative analysis enhances the understanding of the relationship between legal foundations and the spiritual values proposed by Pope Francis. The adopted methodology aims to deepen the understanding of elements of economic law that converge with the principles of the "Economy of Francis and Clare." The literature review and the comparative method together offer a comprehensive approach to constructing an economic model that respects not only legal foundations but also ethical values, thus providing and promoting a more integrated, just, and sustainable vision of the contemporary economy.
