Abstract

This study aimed to present an experience report on the realization of the workshop 'Building and Producing Content through Podcasts,' based on the participants' perceptions. For this purpose, an experience report was constructed with a description of how the mentioned university extension activity was conceived and executed, as well as the impacts that the proposed knowledge approach could have on the participants, which was assessed with a semi-structured questionnaire provided at the end of the event. The analyzed findings indicated that the participants were able to expand their knowledge in a technology that can be used for various purposes, including conducting activities both in and out of class, thus encouraging active student learning. Additionally, when a teacher uses it as a strategy to introduce a new topic or review content, it can assist the student in cognitive, spatial, temporal, and technological aspects, since the content can be easily accessed at any time or place.
