Abstract

Este artigo busca verificar a supranacionalidade das ações para a promoção da igualdade de gênero e das ações para promoção dos direitos LGBTI realizadas no âmbito da União Europeia no período compreendido entre 2005 e 2015. Espera-se, através de uma comparação entre três ações de cada uma das áreas citadas acima, compreender o grau de compartilhamento de soberania dos países do bloco nestas duas áreas temáticas, que, não apenas estão presentes desde a criação do mesmo, mas também são temas cada vez mais discutidos nas agendas atuais da União Europeia.

Pedro Barbabela de Mello Vilela, Graduado em Relações Internacionais pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais

Bacharel em Relações Internacionais pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais. Membro discente ativo em atividades voluntárias do Departamento de Relações Internacionais de sua universidade. Estudou um semestre na Universidade do Porto, em Portugal. Foi bolsista-estagiário na SEPLAN/Assessoria de Relações Internacionais da PUC Minas, atuando nos setores de Programas Acadêmicos e Suporte e Projetos. Participou de projetos de extensão como o MINIONU e o Conjuntura Internacional. Possui interesse em política internacional, política comparada, integração regional, movimentos sociais, questões de gênero e sexualidade
