Terrorismo: A contemporaneidade da Trindade Clausewitzana

Clausewitz é um dos maiores pensadores da guerra e da estratégia. Dentre as ideias concebidas pelo militar alemão, destaca-se a “Trindade da Guerra”, conceito formado por três tendências dominantes, que agem como forças dentro da guerra e que estão sempre presentes nos conflitos, sendo eles: a violência primordial que liga os indivíduos a guerra e aumenta o impulso para a luta contra o inimigo; o jogo do acaso e da probabilidade, que junto com a coragem e o talento, permeiam os combates, fazendo da guerra um ato imprevisível e, finalmente, a subordinação da guerra a política, que é um instrumento para que o Estado alcance seus objetivos. Contudo, persiste a dúvida se as teorias de Clausewitz permanecem relevantes nos dias atuais com o recrudescimento da globalização e da guerra assimétrica (terrorismo), uma vez que ficou enfraquecida a definição Vestfaliana de um Estado-nação e aumentou-se a participação de atores não estatais nos conflitos. Esse trabalho se baseou num estudo qualitativo, caracterizado por ser uma pesquisa do tipo aplicada, onde elencamos algumas interpretações da trindade de Clausewitz e buscamos verificar a contemporaneidade da mesma para o terrorismo. Por fim, a emergência do Estado Islâmico tornou o tema terrorismo novamente atual, uma vez que o terror é, cada vez mais, uma preocupação e uma ameaça a diversos governos do Ocidente.
