Abstract

O Livro Conflitos do século 21 é uma coletânea de importantes textos de especialistas do campo das Relações internacionais que contribui para esclarecer as questões fundamentais da temática na perspectiva do novo milênio. O polêmico acontecimento do 11 de setembro de 2001, e todos os seus desdobramentos, trouxeram aos lares pela mídia expressões como Oriente-Médio, Mundo Árabe e Mundo Muçulmano adquiriram uma dimensão considerável dentro do espaço midiático mundial apresentando novos paradigmas desafiadores aos modelos convencionais de compreensão ocidental, oriundos da complexidade geopolítica de regiões.
