Abstract

This case aimed to discuss the barriers to effective inclusion of people with disabilities in all spheres of life. Therefore the trajectory of young Italo is presented. The case shows the barriers that the main character had to face and outlines the different coping strategies he used. We organized the discussion based on the technique called "pollination". The case may be used in undergraduate and graduate programs, fostering possibilities for discussing the topic.
