Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies contributed to the emergence of a new concept of school, teaching and, consequently, a deep review of Higher Education Institutions, which aim to train teachers. The purpose of this work is to investigate tools and objects useful to education with the use of technologies, in addition to analyzing the evolution of society in the era of knowledge and changes in the profiles of educators and students, these changes being fundamental for the implementation of technologies in education. The method of approach was the inductive method, as part of the analysis of data and particular experiences, with bibliographic and digital research on websites and platforms specialized in education. It was found that technologies revolutionized teaching and changed the conception of schools, teachers and students, and society itself. These educational technologies are not tools that save educators from educational problems, but add value, demystifying knowledge and democratizing their access.
