Abstract

Inclusion and accessibility are very common terms in Special Education. In the current pandemic scenario, we highlight the inclusion and digital accessibility of information and communication technologies (ICTs), that is, access to virtual environments. This paper reports the difficulties encountered for the development of educational practices, with students with special needs, assisted in the Resource Room of a state school, located in the city of Niterói/RJ, since the universality in the issue of teaching, in the modality being offered, becomes exclusionary for those who do not have access to electronic equipment and the Internet. Inequalities in the various areas of Education exist, but social ones have become more evident with the technological issue. In addition, in this first quarter of social isolation, the actions of the resource room teacher focused on interaction with the student and his/her family, in order to monitor the access to the proposals placed on the platform by the teachers of the class and the development of these, in order to better adapt the curricular questions.
