Abstract

Why persist in contemporary barriers to the entry of men in early Childhood Education? This is one of the questions present in this article that seeks to understand the reason for the construction of the feminization of teaching in Brazil, analyzing the current masculine presence in early childhood education in order to promote a reflection on gender relations that must be discussed and rebuilt from the educational practices in order to break with the hegemonic models regarding female and male in search of an equality policy genres before early childhood education.
