Abstract

In this article, we will discuss the educational evaluation on a large scale, a reality present in Brazil, and the main aspects inherent to the quality of education. Our research is characterized as applied, qualitatively addressing the issues of evaluation and monitoring. Based on the acquisition of data via direct interview and subsequent transcription, we demonstrate the relationship of educational managers with the tools for monitoring and evaluation on a large scale. The recorded findings can guide educational systems to create continuing education courses for managers, focused on the interpretation and use of the results of large-scale assessments for diagnosis, control and actions to improve the quality of education.
