Abstract

This experience report intended to enhance the reflection on the teacher's planning for the children's learning journey considering the “new” times, modes, materials, and contexts that are organized through interactions and play in children's institutional spaces. The sand tank is the organized context for playing because, in addition to being an open space, its potentiated children's imagination by provoking a profound and sensitive construction of symbols and other knowledge in children. From our observations, records and of children's narratives, provocations and interlocution between fields - fields of experience and everyday poetic details emerge, are very important elements the organization of conceptions that dialogue with more significant practices for education professionals and for children in early childhood education institutions.
