Abstract

Based on the idea that the Pandemic caused by Covid-19 influenced and intensified inequalities among students in Brazil, this work aims to understand the Literacy and Literacy process in the reopening of a public school in Belo Horizonte in 2021. Furthermore, interviews were carried out with teachers and coordinators at a municipal school, with the aim of identifying the challenges and possibilities in literacy that arose during the pandemic period. It was concluded that the Pandemic created a gap between students, in addition to the importance of parents in monitoring students and the need for the school to position itself through strategies to minimize the impacts of this period.
