THE CLOWN AS A TOOL IN HEALTH EDUCATION

Abstract

Humanization in Health is something that has been sought and, with this, it is observed the creation of proposals that aim to promote a more humanized health care. It is understood that the Sensibilizarte project, carried out since 2007 at the State University of Londrina, is an action that meets this proposal, aiming at the humanization of the training of the health professional. This project has four fronts: crafts, of stories, music and clown and, in the present research, the objective was to investigate the tool of the clown in the formation of students of courses of the Health related to Sensibilizarte. For that, four people who had integrated the Sensibilizarte were interviewed. The interviews were recorded and later transcribed, outlining the following categories: motivation for the choice of the clown as artistic language, the development of clown, moments of insertion in the Sensibilizarte, the role of the project in the conception of health and as a political resource. Through this research, it was observed that the experience of the clown was something particular for each subject, despite several convergences and similar experiences. However, such experiences proved to be of great relevance for the professional and personal training of the interviewees.
