THE GUARANTEE OF THE RIGHT TO THE KINDERGARTEN AS A FEMALE EMPOWERMENT POLICY: THE BREASTFEEDING PROCESS OF HOSPITAL SOFIA FELDMAN WORKERS

The development of this study was based on the understanding of the experience of 15 women mothers and workers at the Sofia Feldman Hospital in relation to the guarantee of rights foreseen by the CLT in relation to the Nursery and Breastfeeding as a possible policy of female empowerment and a factor of strengthening the bond mother-baby. To this end, a historical review was made about the struggle for the right to DayCare in Brazil, Humanization and Breastfeeding policies, in addition to consultations regarding the concept of bonding by the author and psychoanalysis Winnicott. We used the semi-structured interview method, with 6 open questions about the experiences of maternity wards, day care, humanization and the bond of women. The study showed that a large portion of the interviews do not recognize or partially recognize the Right to DayCare and Breastfeeding. However, the Creche occupies a significant place in its social, economic and affective demands, being of great value for its family dynamics. In addition, physical space is a fundamental factor for building the bond in the first year of life and also in early childhood with their children and a significant contingency for encouraging breastfeeding until the age of two.
