NOTAS SOBRE A ANGÚSTIA E O DESEJO EM TEMPOS DE PANDEMIA DA COVID-19 NO CONTEXTO UNIVERSITÁRIO

Abstract

This article intends to present a brief discussion about angst and desire in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, from the experience of welcoming the subjective urgencies of university students carried out in the Psychological Assistance to Students offered by the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (APP). We attest that the importance of this device in the institution is made effective by the acceptance of the students' subjective urgencies, in which there is an intense angst. The function of the APP device in its current clinical modality con-sists of a time management that enables the elaboration of a suffering in which the subject is involved and for-mulates a question, capable of providing a "clue" in relation to his own desire. It is concluded that the function of the APP in these COVID-19 pandemic times is not to settle the angst, but to make it speak for the invention of a saying, which allows the subject to build a way out of his own desire, which allows the subject to invent a way out of angst from his/her own desire.
