Abstract

Based on a psychosocial intervention research program, or work presents questions and considerations on community and institutional groups, subject to research and extension of the LAPIP - Laboratorio de Pesquisa e Intervenção Psicossocial da UFSJ. The perspectives of analyzes by authors who work with a dialectic conception of human groups and the group process, such as Ignácio Martín-Baró and Silvia Lane, and the concepts of the Operating Group, by Enrique Pichón-Rivière and group offices, by Lúcia Afonso . In the investigated / attended groups we find phenomena that produce identity-producing and conscientious groups, as well as insisting on staying as groups, resisting individualism and social isolation. Coesão processes and collective identities produced in association with solidarity and affect mechanisms. We witness more egalitarian power relations, involving less submissão e more disposition for or educational work, with more possibilities of collective production of conheciments.
