THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE RESIDÊNCIA PEDAGÓGICA PROGRAM AT CEFET-MG AMID THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The Residência Pedagógica Program, promoted by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, CAPES, is one of the mechanisms for the insertion of future teachers who are in the second half of the course, and traditionally is carried out in person at the participating educational institutions. However, given the current moment in the world, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Residência Pedagógica Program had to take place, for the first time, remotely. This work aims to demonstrate, through images and/or information, the activities developed by the students of the Geography course (undergraduate) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais in the Residência Pedagógica Program between 2020 and 2021, from October to May, at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais, CEFET-MG. These activities were mostly aimed at 2nd year high school students, but also 3rd year high school students.
