Abstract

This work aims to present the Uberlândia’s genesis of its open spaces. Every city has an open spaces system composed of different typologies, and that their formation occurs in a temporal way together with the development and transformation of urban spaces, and these temporal movements are called morphological periods, and define their spatial characteristics and their configuration. The research revealed the morphological periods that contributed to the structure of the current system, as well as the genesis of each evolutionary moment.
