THE ROLE OF KARL MARX´S ‘FRAGMENT ON MACHINES’ IN THE SCHEMATISM OF ENCRYPTION OF POWER

Abstract

In this paper, I will try to demonstrate that the procesos of automatization of things, announced by the theorists of artificial intelligence, can be fully understood from a theory of knowledge (epistemology) derived from the theory of value, that can be named as theory of the 'social brain' (das gesellschaftliche Hirn), following Karl Marx’s lexicon. However, this epistemological "treasure", far from being a mere sociology of technology or another critical theory of mind, is substantially oriented towards the implementation of democracy conceived as a legal order of difference, that is, as a means for decryption of power (potestas).
