This article aims to outline a content for the concept of feminist democracy. This is analytical-bibliographic research, within the framework of feminist methodology, compatible with the model of democracy that we will defend. We mobilize categories and concepts from critical theory, decolonial theory and contemporary feminist political theory. Initially, we expose the state's situation in Latin America to understand how the racialized, classist, misogynist and exclusionary political-legal framework was constructed in modern times. Afterwards, we articulate feminist theoreticians as a counterpoint to the centrality of the models of liberal democracy and social democracy, in order to tension the approach of redistribution and recognition, located in the neoliberal capitalist crisis. We conclude that feminist democracy has a double aspect. It is political theory, because it proposes a model of the State and it is the politics of affections, as another way of doing politics, constituting itself - through the affection - in potent fissures for the restructuring of institutions and for combating the asymmetries that cross the bodies of of those who inhabit the area of not being. It is not a question of replacing one democracy with another. But to break with patriarchalism (antipatriarchal antagonism) using the fissure method. The work incorporates an original and little explored approach in Brazilian literature, which opens different paths of analysis for future research.
