Abstract

Byung-Chul Han analisa as novas  formas de poder na sociedade contemporânea. Sua pergunta é: - Será que a garantia de uma vasta rede de informações torna os indivíduos mais livres?   Sua tese é que os indivíduos não se tornam mais livres  nas sociedades atuais porque  existe um  controle  psicopolítico,  onde eles são seduzidos por novas formas de poder e  de bom grado disciplinam a si mesmos,  dispensando medidas autoritárias. Assim, os  indivíduos estão apenas travestidos de uma “suposta liberdade”, visto que  na prática eles  se submetem  de maneira amigável e espontânea às demandas do sistema, tornando-se  cada vez menos cidadãos.
