The objective was to identify which personal and professional decisions of women teachers in the Acre Amazon are influenced by the characteristics of the rural area of Feijó, which is the used territory where they live and work. The theoretical framework was based on Milton Santos' interpretation of the used territory and how it is identified in Feijó. The production and analysis of data was made from the 10 semi-structured interviews carried out with women teachers from the Acre Amazon, participants of the research. It was identified that the decision to have a private property, through agrarian reform programs, is the priority of families in this territory; education and other public policies are secondary achievements. The option for teaching is a decision that dialogues with the lives of women teachers in this territory because teaching and domestic work are the only professions with a large offer for women in rural areas. This research showed that there are many possibilities for studies that involve the Amazonian territory and for those who teach in Rural Education in the North region of Brazil: men and women teachers of the Brazilian Amazon.
