This research sought to characterize how managers from the Belo Horizonte city schools position themselves on the curricular incorporation of the Digital Information and Communication Technologies. The mixed-based research involved document analysis, application of a questionnaire and focus group. The results indicate that managers perceive the possibilities of inserting technologies into the curriculum and the school's Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) in different ways. Managers are generally convinced that digital technologies are a promising educational resource at the same time that they recognize challenges to be faced for effective insertion, undergoing a reformulation of political-pedagogical projects and educational curricula and also demanding the development of public policy for continuing training of teacher.
