This article aims to understand the formation processes of educators at the Escola Família Agrícola de Sobradinho, Bahia. This school emerged as resistance to the social problems created as a result of the City Hydroelectric Plant, building and agreeing on an education linked to social mobilization, interfering in the region's political relations by guiding the ideals of Countryside Education. Thus, there is an interest in understanding the formation paths experienced by the educators at this school, through group meetings with a semi-structured script and analyzed from a dialectical hermeneutic perspective. As a result, four central transversal axes were highlighted: identity processes; academic education; social mobilization and the affections involved in educating. It’s understood that participation in social movements and the fight for access to public policies, even in the youth of these educators, brought into their lives the constitution of an active political role in their territories, awakening love and the desire to follow the teaching, especially when conceiving Countryside education as a tool for mobilization and social transformation.
