THE EXPERIENCE OF INTERACTIVE HIGH SCHOOL IN PARÁ
the context of implementing the SEI project in a marajoara reality

The production aimed to analyze the process of implementing secondary education through the Interactive Educational System (SEI Project) in a riverside community in the municipality of Portel/PA, from 2018 to 2021. The study was based on the assumptions of the qualitative approach, the historical and dialectical materialism as a research and field research method. We conclude that the Pará State Department of Education (SEDUC/PA) imposed the implementation of interactive high school through the SEI Project in Vila Gomes/municipality of Portel, as a strategy to replace in-person high school offered through the Modular Education System. teaching (SOME), thus demonstrating that the Pará government aligns itself with neoliberal logic, where there is no interest in dialogue with rural populations, but rather that another strategy be put into operation that combines low investment in education, the expansion of vacancies and better management of the educational process through the wide use of ICTs. Furthermore, there is a clear intention on the part of the intermediate management of SEDUC/PA in Marajó, and possibly the state government itself, to promote the scrapping of SOME as a way of justifying its replacement by the SEI Project.
