The text presents and analyzes experiences aimed at the construction of Agroecology in schools in the countryside linked to the Landless Rural Workers Movement in the context of the construction of the People's Agrarian Reform.It delimits the analysis with the cut back to the Itinerant Schools of Paraná and the Schools of Settlement at national level, which had their experiences presented at the Second National Meeting of Educators and Educators of Agrarian Reform. As bibliographic and documentary research guided by historical-dialectical materialism, it aims to systematize theoretical and practical elements on the construction of Agroecology in Basic Education linked to the MST, analyzing the educational potential present in the experiences presented.As results, it indicates educational potential that develops from the intentionality and orientation of the Social Movement, linked to the educational principle of work, self-organization, the involvement of communities, the collective work of teachers(as) and students, access to agroecological knowledge and the potential of schools to arouse and deepen discussions on the contradictions of today's society, focusing on the formation of new generations from class interests geared to social transformation, where agroecology can play a central role.
