This study presents a proposal for teaching in public schools in the countryside with references from the Pedagogy of Alternation in regular education, in a High School Course for the Colégio Estadual do Campo Bom Jesus, in the municipality of Marmeleiro - PR, designed as a counter-proposal to the Comprehensive Education indicated by the state education management to these schools in the years between 2022 and 2024. The reference for this proposal was the experience of the Catharina Seger State School of Basic Education, in Palma Sola - SC, which organized teaching from the perspective of the Pedagogy of Alternation. This article shares the possibility of tackling the changes demanded by current education policies in high school courses in public schools in/of the countryside in Paraná, using the Alternation Pedagogy as a reference in regular education. This presents the process of implementing the proposal at the Catharina Seger State School of Basic Education, as well as the counter-proposal produced at the Bom Jesus State School of Rural Education. In the context of secondary education in public schools in/of the countryside, it is understood that training is needed to prepare young people for higher education and to develop professional aspects of work in the countryside.
