Resumo

The present article has the purpose of describing the mini-course entitled “The Brazil we want - Perspectives of the Psychodrama and Ethnic-Racial Relations Study Group” developed at the 24th Brazilian Congress of Psychodrama and the 2nd Latin American Regional Congress of Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes - IAGP, from September 11 to 14, 2024, in the hybrid mode, in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais, Brazil). This activity was developed in two periods (morning and afternoon), with a total of 120 participants, based on the sociodramatic methodology with groups, and followed the sequential steps of Psychodrama: warming up, development and sharing. It is an experience report, having as the warm-up trigger the text “Who can speak? Decolonizing knowle dge”, from Grada Kilomba; the results were systematized through participants’ personal and professional experiences, both individually and collectively, on the different forms of racism and their confrontations. From the experiences, this mini-course had the purpose of promoting awareness of the role of psychodrama in the fight for a more just and egalitarian society. This perspective is believed to  significantly contribute, inspired by the resistance of the quilombos, to the construction of an antiracist theory and practice among the professionals who work in group contexts, stimulating dialogues aimed at social transformation.
