The editorial board of CONECTE-SE Magazine is pleased to make public the call for the Dossier: Faces of the Economy of Francesco and Clare. The dossier aims to bring together works that relate the Economy of Francesco and Clare with different areas of contemporary thought, in its varied features, expressions and realities that this agenda has built in the meshes of reality. The Economy of Francesco project was inaugurated by Pope Francis in 2019 and, since then, has mobilized a series of youths, entrepreneurs, businessmen, religious organizations, popular movements, researchers and professors, to build projects focused on new economic relations.

The construction of a network that consolidates new economic pact(s) mobilized in building a reflective and practical process of alternatives, the result of the forceful denunciation that the Economy movement of Francesco and Clare promotes about the ecological and social collapse caused by capitalism.

The phenomenon of alternatives to the economic model is something known in the reflections of the most varied fields of research in Brazil and Latin America. The dossier seeks to list researches that expose post-capitalist epistemologies and new economic relationships from communities, neighborhoods, schools, universities, movements, society organizations, among others. The faces of the Economy of Francesco and Clare concoct, at the same time, a series of initiatives within the scope of contemporary thought that weave new possibilities for reinventing collective coexistence and point to the emergence of movements that overcome contemporary collapse. In this way, the State, companies, communities, religions and the innumerable social institutions take center stage in the field of public discussions, to consolidate, supported by a human and ecological economy, new productive, reproductive, participatory, symbolic, educational relationships, among others.
