Abstract

The suspension of classes in the state public network of Pernambuco brought the challenge of transposing the face-to-face modality to remote activities. In a weekend schools had to make quick decisions to remodel and instruct their educators to the new reality. This article aims to report the procedures carried out at the State Technical School of Arcoverde that resulted in the adoption of the educational Moodle LMS tool installed locally and hosted on the network for the continuity of the activities foreseen by the pedagogical plans of the technical courses and curricula of the National Base Common Curriculum. The adoption of Moodle has proved to be efficient along with the other engagement strategies that have been carried out by other diverse means.
