PERFORMANCE OF PSYCHO-PEDAGOGICAL PROFESSIONALS AND INTERDISCIPLINARITY

This paper presents a study that aimed to understand if the performance of psychopedagogues was interdisciplinary. Considering this area of activity relevant to society. Specifically, seeking to understand with the acting psychopedagogues which functions play in their work. Identifying with the psycho-pedagogical professionals which theoretical approaches they use for care. In the literature review it was discussed about the acting processes the authors Kiguel (1987) and Bossa (2007) were used. To understand interdisciplinarity, the author Japiassu (1976) who discusses the disruption of isolated disciplines and the author Fazenda (1979) who refuses to accept the superiority of a given science, knowing that other knowledge is of equal importance. In order to achieve the proposed objectives a qualitative research was conducted, which counted on the participation of psychopedagogues. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to gather data on the work of psychopedagogues and interdisciplinarity. To analyze the collected data was made the content analysis. The results of this study revealed that for the work of psychopedagogues, the interviewed professionals have different backgrounds, but regardless of this it is of great importance that they have in addition to their training other specializations to perform a good job.
