Abstract

Este ensaio analisa comparativamente os romances Memórias pós­tumas de Brás Cubas e Quincas Borba, acompanhando o seu movi­mento e destacando alguns traços fundamentais do estilo de Macha­do de Assis. O objetivo é interpretar a gênese e a lógica da loucura de Rubião.
