Abstract

Apresentam-se as linhas principais da vida e do pensamento do Padre António Vieira, enfatizando a sua busca de conciliar a experiência do infinito e da totalidade pelo descentramento individual para Deus e o próximo - a santa loucura ou a loucura da santidade - e pelo descen­tramento comunitário da humanidade para se assumir como o Corpo Místico de Cristo, plenificando a história e santificando a terra no Quinto Império ou Reino de Deus na terra consumado.
