Abstract

A lírica trovadoresca dos séculos XII e XIII representa o amor de modo até então desconhecido e que iria influenciar profundamente a literatura moderna. Neste artigo pretendemos demonstrar em que medida o assim chamado "amor cortês" é descrito pelos trovadores como forma de relacionamento análoga à relação vassálica caracte­ rística da Europa feudal.
