Abstract

This article deals with the analysis of the diverse spaces dedicated to Kaingang indigenous education in Aldeia Kondá. When analyzing the community, it can be seen that the education of future generations transcends the formal school space and transits through other places that make it possible for the children, community elders and teachers to play a leading roles. Based on participant observation and oral history records, these new ways of learning and teaching are discussed and related to the culture and current legislation on indigenous school education.
