Abstract

The expanded conversation refers to an epistemological reflection on the impacts that the reconstruction of the relationship between architects and engineers can have. Anchored in the precepts of the Critical Theory of Technology we sought to develop an interdisciplinary approach to the practice of design beyond the principles of instrumental rationality, identifying the possibilities of reconstructing the production and reproduction mechanisms of the field through the construction of a tectonic technical code, also evaluating the role of the University.

Marina Ferreira Borges é aluna de doutorado no Programa de Pós-graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo da UFMG, Mestre em Engenharia de Estruturas pela UFMG (2015) e possui graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela UFMG (2006) e em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade FUMEC (2012).
