Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the PUC Minas standards manual , available on the PUC Minas library page.
  • The file must be in Microsoft Word format, written in Arial font, size 12, single spaced and justified alignment. The page layout must be made on A4 paper (29.7 x 21 cm), with margins: top (3 cm), left (3 cm), bottom (2 cm) and right (2 cm). The abstract must have a maximum of 250 words and highlight the objective, the research method and the main conclusions. The keywords, of which there will be a maximum of five, must indicate the content of the work and be separated by a period. Figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of attachments.
  • O nome do documento referente ao artigo deve conter somente as iniciais do nome da pessoa autora e não o título do artigo (exemplo: IANS.docx).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
  • URLs for references were provided when possible.

GENERAL PUBLICATION RULES

Criteria for Article Selection

For publication, the following will be evaluated: originality, the relevance of the article to the theme proposed by the editorial committee, the quality of the scientific methodology used, as well as the adequacy of the editorial standards adopted by the journal. All texts will be subjected to technical review. The content of the content and the accuracy of the citations will be the sole responsibility of the authors.

 

Types of Accepted Work

The magazine will accept unpublished articles in the following languages: Spanish, French, English, Italian and Portuguese. Texts must correspond to the following categories:

. articles, comprising theoretical studies with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 pages (approximately between 30,000 and 50,000 characters with spaces);

. reviews of national or foreign publications, bibliographic reviews, as well as theses and dissertations. Book reviews must be in accordance with the theoretical purpose of the magazine, and have a maximum length of 5 pages (approximately 15,000 characters with spaces). Reviews must refer to recent works with a maximum of 2 years of publication. In the case of books published in a foreign language, this time may be reassessed by the editors, depending on their translations.

Thematic Dossier

The articles in this topic are related to themes previously released for commemorative editions of the magazine.
