O sexo: entre a existência e a desconstrução
Abstract
Esta resenha tem como escopo a verificação do capítulo O sexo, da obra Judith Butler e a Teoria Queer, de Sara Salin. A rigor, podemos dizer que toda a obra se estrutura sobre uma pergunta fundamental: “Por que Butler?” (SALIH, 2013, p.103-138). Não se apequena o eco de tal questão no capítulo escolhido, visto que ela se abre, em primeira instância, à complexidade dos enunciados filosóficos de Butler e, noutra ponta, se justifica pelo diálogo travado com grandes filósofos. Concentramo-nos na querela do sexo — à luz de Butler — como tema central de nossa investigação. A rigor trataremos deste tema a partir dos enunciados dessa importante pensadora contemporânea.
