Abstract

Nesse artigo de revisão de literatura acerca do conceito de ateísmo, procuramos obter uma síntese de várias propostas de definir ateísmo como aparecem em artigos e livros especializados sobre o tema. Para alguns filósofos, “ateísmo” é um conceito muito fácil de definir. J. Baggini, afirma: “Ateísmo de fato é bem simples de definir: é a crença que não existe Deus ou deuses”. Contudo, esse otimismo não é compartilhado por todos os que lidam com o assunto.
