O USO DO COMPUTADOR NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA

The computer, used as a pedagogical tool, has become a didactic resource that enhances the teaching-learning process (COSCARELLI, 2002). However, there is a lackness of studies that research the use of computers in early childhood education. In this context, this article presents a survey that aimed to answer the following problem: What do scientific articles address about the use of computers in early childhood education? For this, it aimed to: (i) examine the content of each of the articles found, through exploratory research, (ii) understand what the selected articles present on the theme and (iii) locate the points of proximity and distance between these articles of exploratory research with the bibliographic research. A contrastive analysis was carried out between three articles, selected on the basis of Scielo and Portal de Periódicos Capes, and a literature review on the theme, based on the following categories of analysis: points in common between the works and points relevant to the theme. The analysis of the articles showed several points in common regarding the importance of using the computer as a didactic resource, the role of the teacher as a mediator of the teaching-learning process, the current legislation on the use of the computer in Early Childhood Education and the need continuing education for teachers in the area of educational technology.
