Abstract

The article aims to confront curriculum conception of three authors Apple, Young and Freire.It is a theoretical text written from bibliographic research for the purpose of studying .The authors were chosen by being classics of curricular field and by presenting propositions that converge or not, what provides a critical discussion about the curriculum. By presenting the considerations about the questions: What or Who do schools suit? (APPLE); What are they for? (YOUNG); and How can they contribute toward world man connection construction through contextualized knowledge? (FREIRE), the article discusses about schools knowledge pseudo-neutrality and the various schools functions of building different society projects. Curriculum and power; potent knowledge and contextualized knowledge; conservative modernization movement and performance policies , the curriculum as enhancer of consciousness and world man connection through students autonomy construction, are some of themes treated in this article which puts up as a curricular conceptions panel.
