In this article we present the report of a pedagogical experience carried out with students of Integrated High School in a campus of the Federal Network of Technological Education, at the state of Minas Gerais. Our main objective was to discuss sexist actions in the school environment under the lens of feminist decoloniality. To implement the approach, the projection of the documentary “O Silêncio dos Homens” (Men’s Silence) was used as a methodological strategy, in collaboration with a campus extension project. Inspired by Freire's culture circles, we organized conversation circles after the documentary was shown, providing a horizontal space for discussion between students and teachers. The data constructed from these meetings were analyzed from a decolonial perspective, from which we concluded the need to exercise attentive listening to the students' needs for the proposition and implementation of pedagogical practices and the students' interest in the construction of new masculinities that problematize white masculinity patriarchal.
