This article aims to highlight the right to education, on the one hand, as one of the most important rights for social and citizen life and, on the other hand, as a legally protected right, as a resource that must be known by citizens. To this end, we seek, in classical thought, the emergence of education as a right and the consequences for public policies, institutions, collective interests and individuals.
