What is innovation in Education? José Francisco de Almeida Pacheco is a theoretical reference and has been at the forefront for the last fifty years with the issue of innovation during the construction of human relationships at Escola da Ponte, in Portugal. How does this educator understand the concept? His reflections intertwined with the concepts of teaching (Arroyo, 2000), (Tardif, 2018), (Freire, 2018) and (Garcia, 2019) favor reflection and consolidation of the concept of school innovation, as well as helping to separate innovation technical-scientific and social innovation.
