Abstract

From a reading of the book “Exposiciones en el tiempo: Revistas latinoamericanas del siglo XX”, organized by Verónica Delgado and Geraldine Roges (Ed. Katatay, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, 2021), the aim is to present and reflect on a broader research program, developed at the National University of La Plata, in Argentina, since 2013, whose main issue is the study of literature and the contexts of social circulation of texts written in periodicals. Based on this central problem, the program is structured around two actions: the holding of biennial editions of the Colloquium “Publicaciones Periódicas Argentinas” and the publication of dossiers in academic journals, authored books and collections - including the work of which this review is a part.

Frederico de Mello Brandão Tavares, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto

Professor Associado da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP), onde atua na Graduação em Jornalismo e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação (PPGCOM). Doutor em Ciências da Comunicação pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS), com licença de Pós-doutorado junto à Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP, Argentina).  É um dos líderes do GIRO (Grupo de Pesquisa em Mídia e Interações Sociais, CNPq/UFOP) e também Bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq (PQ-2).
