THE ROCK MUSIC TRAJECTORIES IN THE CAVERNA DE ADULÃO COMMUNITY
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present article showed how the social construction occurred in the relationship between religion and culture with the young rock and urban tribesmen. Later it was shown the loss of the strength of rock as the only socializing element and the entrance of other elements in its place. It was analyzed how the social bonds between the young people in the community with the autonomy for differentiated religious practices occur, in which the city and the postmodernity allow new ways of living and believing in the actuality. The methodology used was a bibliographical review, with the objective of analyzing the primary and secondary sources about Michel Maffesoli 's thinking about juvenile tribalization, at Portal of Periodicals of Capes, and at the libraries of PUC Minas and UFMG. A field research was also carried out, using the anthropological-ethnographic method that happened with participant observation and the focus group techniques. Thus, the adhesion of these young people to the Caverna de Adulão Community happened at first with rock music because they felt integrated with their culture; then, there was the opening to other socializing elements and people of various ages.
