APPLIED SCIENCE OF RELIGION essays for an autonomy and professional application
Main Article Content
Abstract
The book “Science of Applied Religion: essays for autonomy and professional application” (2018), organized by scientists and authors in Science of Religion Fábio Stern and Matheus Oliva da Costa is configured as a marker for the Science of Religions programs in Brazil, as well as for the affirmation and establishment of a discipline capable of opening horizons of professional activity within the academic corpus: the “science of applied religion.” This book is the result of the Seminar on Science of Applied Religion (SEMCREA), held at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) since 2017, which aims to sow ideas and discussions guided by the valorization of this science in society.
