Main Article Content
Abstract
The present article presents a study of approximation in between the egyptians and Israelites
images of wisdom in Pr 8. The search is organized in three parts: the first has as in focus the
study of images of egyptian wisdom; the second highlight the images of Israelite wisdom; the
third part, on the other hand, consist of a study on the personification of wisdom. The objective is
to explore possible approximations between the images of egyptian and israelite wisdom, in
order to discover if the wisdom of Pr 8 also adopts the image of some divine being.
Methodologically, the search resorts to the description, identification and comparation of images
and concepts. She also seeks to show which facets, in Pr 8, are similar and which are diferente
from egyptian wisdom.
